Mitsubishi Shogun Pinin
Full Road TestThe Pinin was styled in Italy and is something of a fashion statement to rival the Toyota RAV4 and Honda CR-V. Unfortunately, it's nowhere near as much fun, with a three-door version that only feels comfortable on smooth roads and packs little interior space. The five-door is a better buy with a 2.0 engine, plus improved ride and bigger cabin area. Fuel economy and performance are fair and you can specify an automatic gearbox on both versions. A lightweight body means Shogun Pinin is susceptible to motorway crosswinds and there's not enough refinement to make ownership enjoyable. |
